Okay so I had my consultation with the Jenny consultant yesterday. I am 18 kg from my ideal weight and thanks to my lovely mother who is sponsoring me for the first few weeks while we attempt this together I am in possession of a week's worth of pre-packaged convenience food which the home-cook in me keeps eyeing up suspiciously... but like I said 18kg!!!
Day didn't start well - I was going to start tomorrow at the same time as mum but thought I would jump in and try it now as I didn't have plans for the day. I also planned a day of eating and drinking whatever the hell I wanted but finances are dictating otherwise so in I have plunged... luckily I have enough salad stuff on hand to supplement meals but no fruit so will buy some on way back from swimming with the kids
I will be honest, the worst part of sitting down to lunch was the salad. I love salads when eating out, even the plain ones, but my homemade jobs are somewhat less appetising for some reason... nevertheless what Jenny says, Kelly will do. So far the food has tasted pretty nice, the salted caramel nut bar was surprisingly 'real' tasting. Muesli was meh! It actually tasted delicious but it was the first time I have eaten breakfast in years so my body is rebelling.
I am looking forward to seeing results. The biggest thing that I am worried about is that I have been so used to eating whatever I wanted whenever I wanted and having now thanks to my malfunctioning thyroid and now I have no thyroid so I have no idea if this is even going to work?!?!? Anyway I will soldier on, wish me luck.
